On a warm day in May I shot the wedding of Cassie and James. This was the first time I had had the opportunity to shoot a wedding that was fully a Tipi Wedding Photography. I was pretty excited to shoot the day. See above images for how it turned out
My day started at the bride’s parents’ home, the bridal preparations went well with a few tears shed along the way. Transport to the venue was a classic VW beetle convertible, with the roof up a short drive and a few spots of rain we arrive at the venue and I get my first view of the Tipi wedding photography. Set by a series of pools the tipi looked amazing dressed tastefully inside and out. A lovely ceremony and many cheers and laughter the happy couple toasted themselves with pimped up prosecco. The rest of the day went really well any I had so many options for photos. The tipi’s made a great backdrop to the day in fact they gave a real character and feel to the photos. One of the highlights to the day for me was when the bride was eager to have a go at making a pizza, we kept her away from the red sauce but what a great photo op. I had a great day on my first tipi wedding photography shoot, and I think everyone else enjoyed it too. And those few drops of rain never developed into anything more.
