On a baking hot June day I shot the wedding of Katie and Matt. As I usually do I started with the bridal preparations at Katie’s family home in Bedfordshire Village Wedding. The door was answered by a gentleman who gave me a quizzical look and for a heart beat I thought I had the wrong house. With the house empty as all the girls are at the salon getting hair done dad was doing a bit of reading and wasn’t expecting company. It wasn’t long before bride, bridesmaid and mum returned all looking fabulous. All the prep went smoothly and soon the cars arrived to whisk the bridal party to the registry Offices in St Albans. The registry offices are a strange venue with a mix of new and old but when you are met by an 8inch canon and Doors that once starred in the TV comedy show Porridge (yes these are the prison doors) It makes you think is this a metaphor, surly not lol!! After the ceremony everyone was looking for shade as the heat of the day was mounting Group pics over and its off to the wedding breakfast at Lussmans Fish and Grill, a splendid venue on multiple floors serving fantastic food and with great AC. After a wonderful meal and fun speeches we all moved on to the evening reception venue at Streatley Village Hall. After some last minute decorations the venue was ready to receive the evening guest with the room soon full and the outside even more popular than the inside The new Mr and Mrs cut cake, danced a first dance, downed shots, limbo’ d and generally had an awesome time.  Thanks for letting me be part of your beautiful, intimate family wedding.

Oh and I forgot to say the organised it all in under 6 weeks!!

We absolutely love it!!!!!!! The photos are amazing!!

Married life is wonderful and It’s almost as hot today as our wedding day lol.
