“hiya Nick, welcome to the mad house” with a greeting like that it was going to be a fab day of shooting.

On a very warm summer day in July I shot the wedding of Amy and Richard. As I usually do I started with the bridal preparations at the Stanwick Hotel Wedding venue in Stanwick Northamptonshire. The room were full of family, bridesmaids, Hair, MUA’s and kids. I often get a chance to see the groom prior to the ceremony but on this occasion the groom and his grooms’ men were arriving till later. The bride had only a short walk around the venue to the cooler (temperature) of the beautiful Pergola setting of the ceremony. After the I do’s much laughter and joking, at the expense of the groom followed by a fab reception including a BBQ fizz speeches and slide show. The highlight for me being all the children who had the best day in the grounds of the Stanwick Hotel Wedding venue. Amy and Richard were great fun and the welcome I was given by Amy all those hours earlier of “welcome to the mad house” fitted perfectly

“Just wondering when the photos will be ready. (I’ve had people asking already lol) no rush just wondered!”
