The Shearsby Bath Wedding of Chris & Joe

The Shearsby Bath Wedding of Chris and Joe took place in the summer and what a fantastic day it was to be. Beautiful people, beautiful locations, beautiful weather, well two out of three ain’t bad (blooming UK weather) !

The day started at the Belmont Hotel in Leicester and a busy but organised scene met me on my arrival. Relaxed bride Chris even made me a coffee and plied me with sandwiches and cupcakes.  Chris originally from Sweden had family and friends coming from all over Europe, I discovered I am rubbish at detecting accents.

All the bridal preparation went very smoothly we left on time and arrived at Shearsby Bath Wedding venue to some light drizzle and a gale blowing, but still on time. Because of the wind the ceremony was being held inside and not in the band stand. So the rustic but beautifully appointed barn was the location of the ceremony. With no hiccups or fumbles, Joe and Chris had done it, Husband and Wife at last. Some truly massive hugs and back pats, glass of fizz and smiles all round. We tackled the group shots in double quick time due to the high winds before going for food and some very revealing speeches! Chris & Joe were so much fun so amenable to any suggestions I had and the evening hadn’t even started.

Bang on target

Shearsby Bath Wedding (Leicester) had an outside games stand including coconut shy, genga plus others. Not one to miss a photo op I suggested Chris try, Three balls three knock downs, I missed the shot because I was opened mouthed. Talk about dead shot!

I really enjoyed my time with Chris, Joe and all their family and friends Shearsby Bath Leicester was a great venue which due to the weather I didn’t get to fully explore.

I already have another booking for a Shearsby Bath Wedding so fingers crossed.
