Rutland Village Wedding

Rutland Village Wedding

Rutland, England’s smallest County nestled in beautiful countryside with Rutland Water the UK’s largest man-made reservoir within its boundaries. Rutland was the location for my Rutland Village Wedding and was in fact spread over three villages from bridal prep, through the church ceremony and onto the reception. It was going to be a busy day for the Sat Nav.

Rain showers promised.

The weather had the potential to be a big part of todays wedding with black clouds scudding through at regular intervals. Somehow our timings were spot on all day and no one got more than a slight dampening, although we did have to make more than one dash for cover during the day.

Family and friends

Weddings by there nature are about family and this wedding was a bringing together of family and friends that are as close as family. This Rutland Village wedding was no exception with family and friends coming together to make a great day the best day. That even the weather couldn’t spoil.
The reception was at a village pub with amazing food and the wedding took over the venue and much fun was had once the formalities were taken care of, with a very busy dance floor. I love a busy dance floor, even the groom got in the spirit of things, probably the less said the better about that, lol.
